The straw that broke the Camel’s Back
January 2009. Paris, France is attacked by Terrorists. Does anyone think that President Sarkozy or the French government would know how to deal with this? Probably Sarkozy would decide to negotiate with the terrorists – yet when there are riots in Paris, President Sarkozy sends in the police and the army to suppress citizens and some of them have been killed. I wonder what President Sarkozy’s decision would be if eight thousand missiles were launched on Paris.
When Georgia attached Russian citizens, Russia immediately went into full military operation against Georgia and killed innocent citizens, and this is not including what Russia did to Chechnyan people. I wonder again what would happen if eight thousand missiles were launched onto Russian soil because this goes beyond my imagination.
The United States of America had the very sad chapter of September 11th, this was horrible and unacceptable and immediately and without any hesitation, the government sent American soldiers against Afghanistan and Iraq and killed a whole generation of people in those two countries in the fight against terrorism but no UN resolution was passed to stop this.
When England was attacked in World War 2, they attacked every city in Germany, many innocent citizens were killed in these attacks. No one dwells on these pieces of history. I cannot imagine if this kind of incident happened in a Muslim country like Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Turkey, what they would do to oppress the country who attacks them and their citizens.
But when Israel is attacked, the whole world blames Israel for defending itself against terrorism. No country in the world would allow their citizens to be human shields. All the world leaders like to give pretty heartfelt speeches, shake hands and look united as “fellow men” for the photographs, and they all declare the need to fight terrorism, but when it is time for actions to speak louder than words, all these leaders shun away from their declarations of war on terrorism.
The whole world declared Hamas and Hezbollah as terrorist organizations and no one has done anything to combat these terrorist organizations and the world leaders have become sentimentally attached to these terrorists. When Israel is surrounded by terrorist countries who want to destroy Israel the world turns against Israel. Israel must continue to destroy the terrorist from the roots with no conditions permitted. Israel will not negotiate with any terrorist organization in the world. Israel never requests help from other countries and relies on the virtue of the IDF (Israeli Army) which is the best in the world to do the job and no other army comes close to doing their job, the job of fighting terrorism on a daily basis in the best way. The politicians in Israel need to stop concerning themselves with their seats getting cold if they lose their position. They need to give full authorisation to the IDF to complete their job against the Hamas terrorists or any other terrorist organization that threatens Israel so that the whole world, without exception, will understand that Israel fights terrorism for its survival and the IDF does the job that other leaders only talk about doing but actually do nothing to combat terrorism.
Israel is the only Jewish State, and we have only one Jewish State which we will not give up under any circumstances and we will fight for the right to live here and we will prevail. I am sending a clear message in this article to all those who are interviewed on CNN, BBC, etc, the so called Palestinian representatives, Annie Lennox, and many other trying to show the world that they are concerned about the Palestinian citizens. They are 100% right that citizens need to be excluded from his conflict, but when Hamas or any other organization uses citizens as hostages and human shields, there is no choice. When Israel allows humanitarian aid to pass to the Palestinian people and we find out that Hamas took all the aid and did not deliver to the Palestinian people, why is the world angry with Israel? And not blaming the Hamas terrorists?
Yesterday the 8th January 2009 the United Nations passed a resolution, a one sided resolution, for an immediate ceasefire by Israel without mentioning the terrorist organization Hamas and without requesting Hamas to stop the endless missile attacks on Israel, so where is this declaration of war on terrorism that the whole world has committed itself to? And where are our allies and in particular the United States of America who did not Vito the resolution? With friends like this we don’t need enemies.
